Maps / game types

There are different maps and game types. It all depends on what your in the mood for. Both game types are similar but their distint difference is in controlling towers instead of destroying them. the other main difference is your objective is based on points rather than physical accomplishments. They have 2 different 5 v 5 maps, with the original map having alternate seasons. They have a 3 v 3 map which is smaller in comarison but still a decent size. And finnaly they have a 1 v 1 map. The items and spells allowed depend on the game type. Each map has its own monsters, buffs, and perks. Explore around and experiment on what works well for you. How will you dominate the fields of justice.

Shops

Outside of the battles there's is a Treasure chest button, you can determine this button by the distinct GOLD color. In it you can go to

* Purchase RP
* Gifting center
* Featured
* Champions
* Skins
* Ward skins
* Runes
* Boosts
* Bundles
* Others

There is also an In game shop Where you can buy items and potions and shit.

Custom Games

Well custom games are a work of art really. On many different levels, that go past the surface of the game. The level of detail in the AI is sufficient. If only you could fully adjust the difficulty on the custom games. Fact of the matter is custom games are exactly like normal games except you can put bots in the 5 v 5 maps. Unfortunately all the other maps require that you have another player. another lame ass road block. I mean sometimes a person might not be in the mood to interact with people. For some people, that's the whole reason they play games, to take a break from society. Me on the other hand, i just love video games and movies. When your playing custom games, try not to get to used to the Bot's tactics, as real player are constantly adjusting their strategies in order to throw off their opponents. Aside from that there's not much else to it. You can invite friends, or wait for people to join you, or you can join a room.

They don't tell you about baron or the golems at the top an bottom lanes that are relatively easy to kill at the first 3 levels if you have the right equipment. The baron can be taken with an early team effort or a solo/duo late game. One for all all for one.

Spells

Spells are in game abilities that the summoner (you) can use, outside of your champions abilities. there are bunch of different spells the two different games offer two different sets of spells. The four most common spells that i have encountered, that are seen on both types of games are as follows.

Smite - As in to smite a monster or minion. As in damage. as in deals damage to minions and monsters. Junglers use this one. If you see someone on the load out screen with this spell they are most likely jungling... don't know why they wouldn't be, unless it was a mistake.

Exhaust - - Ahhh the ol' exhaust. I remember when i made my first exhaust, it shiny and ... stuff. Yeah no. Its actually a spell and it does more than slow the enemy down. it also decreases their damage and attack speed.

Flash - No, just because your a summoner does NOT mean you can summon Flash Gordon. It DOES however teleport you to your pointers location. Do it just right, and it might save your life one day. Learn it in real life and.... then, show me how to do it... 'coz that would be pretty awesome.

Ignite - Here's a spell we all know and love. Some of you even practice this spell on unsuspecting prey in your backyard. Ignite deals damage over time, or DOT as it is commonly called because i said so. It also reduces healing effects on the target. BURRRRN BABY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

So those are the most common spells. But don't be swayed out of not checking out other spells. Allot of people claim its noob to use heal. I however believe that in the right hands Heal can have deadly effects. Remember, Nothing is certain, you determine your skill.

Masteries

Yeah here is where your champion will really start to benefit, before you even get in the game. Masteries appear to give you very little boosts, but when used in conjunction with your runes, they may just be some of the strongest awesomeness in your arsenal. With three different categories to choose from

Attack

Defense

Utilities

Sometimes people will use all of one category, or all on just 2. but the fact of the matter is every champ has need for all 3. Is that to say you HAVE to be a well balanced Summoner? Not at all. I'm simply saying bear in mind that your champion might have more use for utilities than attack. This is a game of strategy and tactics. you cant just be awesome, you have got to be AWESOME. Pay attention to every detail, trade afromation with others, and discover new strategies and tactics based on your style of play. Yeah i said afro, what of it. Anyway, my point is don't stick with just one thing just because its worked before. The whole saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" doesn't really apply to this game. If it did, this game wouldn't even exists. Its about constantly improving yourself to become the very BEST, like no one ever was, to kill them is your real test, to beat them is your cause, LOL! Yeah... i just made a Pokemon reference... so what.

Runes

Ok so we all know that without runes, none of us would be alive right now right? Runes are the magical essence of which our world is made of... right? YEUP! heh no. seriously tho, Runes are a very useful tool You should get them, if not JUST so you wont have a handicap. However, some people tend to not even buy runes until later levels, for the simple fact that runes don't help much as lv 1 or 2 runes. and even the highest runes don't give you a very big boost all things considered. As far as i can tell runes are really there to help define your style of game play. If we put runes into two main categories they would be.

1. Late Game - the effect of the runes increase with your champion level. While you MAY have to wait for the big effects to take place, these runes usually have more to give.

2. Early Game - the effect of the rune is... Writ in stone... if you will. lol X-D It affects your stats as a whole instead of gradually. While these runes may not have as much of a kick late game they sure help you allot early game.

In each one you have different color coded runes, with different effects and possibilities. Rune that boost your attack, or defense. Rune that help with your cool downs, or mana, health, or health or mana regen. etc. etc. etc. you just need to figure out what it is that you want from your chosen champ, and apply it in the shop.

Intro

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Or as they say in the marine corps. "ok LADIES" lol. (LOL... get it hahaha... ahem). My posts are as censored as i can make them without risking absolutely destroying my good personality. lol Seriously What is "LOL"? Is it catchy young text lingo, or something more. Well over 40.000 people already watch League Of Legends videos, posted all over the web. But what is it really about. sources say that LOL has subliminal messages. Others say it was created by the Illuminati to control the masses and make children into violent, disobediant little IMPS!.... ok people dont say that. But that would be HIlarious.
                                                                    No none of that is true. In fact it all started because some upstart gamer decided to take his gaming experience to the next level. Somewhere along the lines of playing Warcraft 3, this genious took it up him/herself to create a map that involved what resembled a less yet eventually more complexed style of arena gameplay. The new map and style of play quickly caught on. As the masses yeilded to this new found legacy, so did blizzard entertainment. creating some other game of which whose name excapes me. Eventually the PVP.net was introduced to a whole new leauge of arena style gameplay. The League Of Legends that is.
                                                                                                                               Imagine, if you will, that we are able to travel back in time for a moment. Lets travel back to October 7th 2008. The day Moba entertainment announced the release of LOL. Arena style gamers, and other, not so optimistic critics, gather at their computers to see the trailers, to read the news, and to prepare themselves for the glory of LEGEND!!!! Lets now go forward in time again.... oh wait not too much, Because not more than 20 days later the release of LOL hit the masses. And like a sack of hot, steamy, mashed potatoes... it caught on. With outstanding graphics for a game of its caliber. terrific audio, and even a little bit of humor here and there, LOL  promised to be a quick and easy fix to peoples "ADD". And it delivered. But to top it all off, not only is this game constantly updated and improved... but... (drum roll please)... ITS COMPLETELY FREE!!! Well not completely. If you want a real advantage against your opponents you'll have to spend some cash. But it IS OPTIONAL, and very affordable. And even 'tho the game does have a shop where you can purchase "RP" (Riot Points) that same shop also sells champions and other goodies for IP (influence points), which are earned through game play.
        now i know what your thinking, "Twiddelz... If this game is so gosh darn cool, how come so many people haven't heard of it yet?". Well, smart ass, that's because your not going around telling everyone! In fact, aside from the amount of publicity it gets from sites like google and what not allot of advertising is brought on from the Summoner themselves by referring friends. (By the way, you are the summoner).
                              Starting at 40 well seasoned noob champs, LOL has now amassed well over 110 champions to choose from, and are coming out with more and more every month or so. My personal favorites are Warwick, Teemo, and Tryndamere. With a wide variety of weapon, masteries, runes, and in game items to choose from, not to mention they put out new champions every week for the public to try out before they purchase them (either with rp or ip) your bound to find a champion and "build" set up just right for you. But it doesn't end there. there are plenty of forums and other fun shit to check out on their site. sign up is free, and it doesn't take more than 2-3 minutes depending on how fast you read/type. http://signup.leagueoflegends.com/?ref=50bbcd10d27c4603561835 This link will take you to the sign up page of league of legends. Have fun and enjoy.
                                    thnx for your time. Peace..............................................out
